I think everyone on housequake.com knew he was at least watching... Shameless Maya's youtube channel she mentioned being asked to monitor (what must have been) prince.org during the yahoo live stream. She said she was surprised how well he knew the forum, IIRC she also said he knew some fans by name (presumably screen name). Facinating what you mentioned about using quotes from fans though.

So funny that they confirm he was on here! I don't suppose Ben or Val will ever disclose his screenname, but I was always curious if a conversation "he" popped in on years ago was really him. I don't have screengrabs, but I printed it out (just in case!) I'll have to scan & post it at some point. It's from the old Org (black background) - no code name, just "Prince" (all lowercase on the old site). But there were always people pretending to be him, so I never truly believed it was him (no matter how BAD I wanted to believe it!)
