Never bought this one. What's the story with the CD cover on "Ultimate"? I've seen it listed with two very different covers.

The white cover is the slipcase.

one of them is the cardboard thingy they put over the CD, the other one is the cover page of the booklet itself

The black one is the cover , the white one is the slip on cover for the CD. Both should be together.

There's two of them.

Yep. There are those that have the white slipcase. There are those that do not. Both have the booklet insert (the 2nd photo).

"Mountains" ain't on this cd....

Thanks for clearing that up.

I saw new ones in a Best Buy display case and they were only the Prince photo ones. I guess new pressings of "Ultimate" don't come with that slipcase.

That's why I never bought it.

There is a jewel case version and a super jewel case version.

Yeah, that super jewel case is how I kind of remember seeing it in stores years ago. A double CD case with the white cover/slipcase. New ones now seem to be slim case with Prince himself on the cover.
