What if it turns out it's a complete mystery how he died?

Wouldn't that be sooo Prince?

.

Could you cope with that? It does occasionally happen.

Hell it already is...We probably won't ever know what killed Prince sadly.

Then he'll be regarded as a mystery in life and death... Which is (almost by design) so very Prince.

Either way, fans will continue to celebrate his music.

Then he will have died as he lived - which is fine with me.

He did suffer from something, so it wount be a mistery. Just give it another month. It took 1.5 months for Whitneys and 2+months for Michael, so we are only halfway there.

Programmed? By whom? Owed one? By whom? You just made the mystery even bigger, Gen. wink

Even if we get the exact reason as to why he died. There will still be people who are not going to believe the report. Funny thing is if it was someone else that was famous that died, I bet Prince himself would be doubting the results.

Dear Gawd! The speculation, rumor mill in that case would be insane. Not something I'm look forward to.

What hasn't been explored yet? Let me see...

He was an alien from outer space and his essence went back to his home planet. An angel paying atonement here on Earth? A visitor from an alternate universe? It'll be some other-worldly crap I know that.

The Prince riding roller skates down 5th Street sightings shall begin.

He planned it that way. Dude is a genius.

Look at 2Pac and Biggie. While it's not a mystery how they died, who did it is the mystery. And both are still very much in pop culture for their mysterious death surroundings.

Biggie is absolutely NOT a mystery.

It was David Mack. Every single shred of evidence points to him. Not a coincidence that he was working undercover for Death Row Records and Suge at the same time as being LAPD. Not a coincidence that he is openly a blood member now that he's in jail and will always be found wearing red clothing.

we'll likely never get anything more conclusive than 'heart failure' which is sad and leaves us hanging.

,

but, we are not entitled to answers. prince's death should be private, his medical files should be private. i'm ashamed i'm asking so many questions as the same time i admit that it's none of my business

I think the mass hysteria around here could be a result of something similar to PTSD. At this point I'm worried that a definitive answer from the authorities might make things worse. eek

Maybe people speculating, hand wringing and lashing out every which way, even though we still don't have enough information to make an informed judgement are in a state of despair? Or maybe some are gripped by a kind of morbid curiosity?

Looks like it's going to go on longer than expected...

I think a big part of wanting to know why he passed, is simply wanting reassurance that he didn't suffer in pain for a prolonged period.

I agree with both these posts and the one above about PTSD being why I/We feel so crazy about this and wanting answers. I just don't want to believe it. I feel like I forget for a little bit and then It pops back in for whatever reason and I just feel sadder.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

Ben will have to create a separate forum just for people to go nuts with their own speculation. That way mods jobs will be easier. (Why not do that now? wink

Now, what to name that forum...

If this doesn't get answered with the autopsy results, I'm leaving the Org.

.

We would argue about this forever more. Give it a year, and we might even forget that between the heroin shots / flu tablets (delete as appropriate - the middle ground of painkillers will soon vanish like tears in rain), the dude occasionally made some music.

I've thought about that, and if that is how it goes down... it would be so Prince-like in retrospect. Mysterious, mystical, and romanticized.

I woud hope that if there is no conclusive evidence, that the fact of enduring mystery is publicized as the final verdict (no verdict) to overshadow the tabloid or conspiracy theories.

I think knowing something definite would allow most of us to move on to acceptance. Confront whatever lingering emotion that's hanging about in the abyss. Because I know what tends to be swimming around in my mind and really it's getting a little maddening not to indulge it and reeling it back into the realm of reality, and I label myself as a freaking realist not subject to wild expression of fancy. The thought of others left to their own active imaginations, it almost frightening to me.

Sadly, I will be unable to cope or handle an inconclusive cause of death. I would be diving into conspiracy stuff head first.

I'm waiting on toxicology and the death certificate with cause of death. I really need there to be a thing that happened.
