What about Andy Allo's album? I thought there were some great tracks on there that didn't necessarily sound like him.

It was a first, and it took Back In Time for Prince to be able to do that on a whole album.

Agree. But the albums he produced for himself and side acts at his peak, are incredible. SOTT for example is a master course in production.

I it was only age that his later production on his own albums as well as others were frankly really bad. But that doesn't take away from his master work.
