I don't know about piano alone, but there will definitely be a version. Although it seems he intended it for a female singer (I once read he sent it to Kate Bush), you can practically hear him demo'ing it just listening to Celine.

I honestly think "With This Tear" is one of the most beautiful song P wrote, absolutely in my top 5 songs he gave to other artists.

And I strongly love Celine's take.

Was this tune ever released as a single from Celine? This is one of my favorite songs from her, and not just becuase P wrote it, the song is perfection. I hope we do get to hear Prince's original version one day.

Well, she sang this song on some TV show, I think it was "The Tonight Show" - was her first English language album.

I had no idea he wrote that song actually..No wonder I love that song...and I'm not into Celine.
