I was just wondering what is going to happen to all of those beautiful clothes he has worn over the years. Maybe they'll be put on display for all of his fans to see at Paisley Park and not locked away.... Sorry for the rambling. I really miss Prince, I'm still crushed.

One would hope some would end up at the smithsonian, but I really believe they will auction them off...just the vibe Im getting.

I imagine the most iconic stuff will be on display at Paisly Park, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Grammy Museum in L.A. and various Hard Rock Cafes. Some of it will go in storage, and other stuff will likely be auctioned off (possibly for charity).

It would be nice if they collected a lot of stuff together for a touring museum exhibit like 'David Bowie Is'.

I bid on a pair of Prince's O+> black leather gloves on Ebay about 6 months ago, I think the auction ended at $5,000........ so there is no way in hell I'd get any of his clothing! Fugghetaboutit!

I would love to see it displayed at PP. I always loved his fashion sense. I liked it that made the effort to look good all the time. When I saw Kayne show up at the Met ball with ripped jeans I missed Prince a little more. I would give a lot to see Prince in that jogging outfit again.

Like Charlie Murphy said, Prince made an enormous contribution to fashion, suddenly there were bundles more black dudes and everything the hell else with eye liner, shine, bright colours and still proclaiming that they were masculine. if there is any indication that the man wouldn't have considered it an insult I think they should be on display, if it is the case that he would not have liked it there should be an exhibition of life size photos of him on stage in all his most amazing and outrageous stuff

I'm sure alot of the stuff thats in circulation by collectors will be sold to museums and Hard Rock Cafes but the stuff at Paisley Park should stay there on display or some given to charity auctions

I want all of Prince's wardrobe to myself, it would fit me nicely I think. I mean I'm maybe just a bit taller than P and I'm petite so

But if I had to choose something specific it would be his outfit from UTCM when he first meets Mary at her party. I love how the top is long in the front (gives off a royal/elegant vibe) and it's short in the back so it shows off a nice amount of skin and doesn't cover the a$$

I'm also really attracted to Prince's asymetric black and white outifts from (I think) the Graffitti Bridge and Musicology eras so I want those too.

If any clothing item of his should be displayed for public viewing at PP or any museum, it should be this, IMHO.

Don't sell the Purple Rain motercycle....What will I take my picture with when I go to PP? I would love one of Prince's hats. I have seen several of the Purple Rain coats and other Prince items at the Hard Rock. I had just told someone, that PP could just display the clothers and I would come for every differnt exhibit.

I saw the original post and I said to myself I don't remember that jacket. When I went to see the movie last week, I saw that he did have on a jacket like the one in the picture.

I think the most iconi Prince clothes after the Puple Jacket-Yellow buttless outfit he wore at the MTV awards, anything from Lovesexy era, the White outfit he wore on the awards show, that ugly outfit he wore to the 2016 Grammys. The denim outfit he wore when he did SOTT for MTV awards. What other Iconic outfits do you like????

My BWA ass would not fit the pants either but I am small and flat on top so I could wear a jacket. One of my favorite outfits was the cover of Lovesexy
