It doesn't sound lovely. Someone once said about Elvis: "If he's alive, he's dead to me." As in, if Elvis actually put his entire family, all his friends and all his fans through the grief of his death, and he's not actually dead? He's a horrible human being. Of course Prince is gone.

As for the security cameras-- I did have the same thought as well. I hope that the footage never leaks but is used in court to figure out what happened and why. I'm sure Prince would have been security-conscious enough to have CCTV going in PP at all times. Then again, I would never have thought he would turn out to not have a will, so what do I know?

If he were still alive, he'd be arrested for fraud. I think it's safe to say he's not alive, sadly.

It's pretty standard these days to have cameras inside elevators (ask Ray Rice, Solange Knowles, etc) especially at a state of the art facility such as PP.

Elvis had. A 9 year old Lisa Marie. I cold forgive Prince in a heartbeat. Not because it wasn't mean but because Id get why.

That was the one thing that shut everyone up about Elvis faking his death...he would NEVER leave his little girl. Elvis loved his daughter more than anything or anyone...he lived for that kid.

That shit would spread like wild fire too and get posted in the mainstream mags. I read this Steve Mcqueen bio apparently the hospital staff in Mexico was taking photos of him while he was getting treatment and wanted to sell video footage of him entering the premises as well, and thank goodness his family stepped in and had it all destroyed, sick roaches I don't want that to happen to Prince.

When I first saw the pictures all I could think of was what is Prince doing in blue jeans????? Then I saw photo recreation, I was a little pissed off. Then I looked into the NE{curious} and there is a fake death picture in a hospital with a hospital gown, perm, and facial hair. It was the same picture they used when Michael Jackson died. You would think with all the money they make, they could have done better recreation photos and not used the same ones they used for MJ.

i'm sure that footage like that would be useful to the death investigation, knowing how long he was there, knowing how sudden it was (did he fall or sit?) but after those questions are answered, I can't see a reason for the footage to exist. but, people being people, it wouldn't surprise me if it leaks. Someone leaked an autopsy photo of tupac, most likely one of the personel I would think. And when elvis died, if memory serves correctly, a photographer tried to pose as a cadaver so they could get a pic, they were caught though. Bruce Lee, Marilyn Monroe both have post-autopsy photos that were taken, but i don't think they were intended as anything other than for records at the time.

I don't know where you read that, but he was in the main Paisley Park studios building and there are security cameras there, including in the elevator.

if he was living alone in the Park maybe the security system, including cameras, would have been shut down. no one to monitor the cameras anyway right?

Most certainly the Carver County Sheriff's Dept. are reviewing the survelliance videos. Can u imagine ? Watching them would break my heart into a million pieces.

i don't think most people even monitor cameras, they use recording in case they need it, which, in this case, they probably do.

Exactly. Cameras are always on and recording, and if anything needs to be reviewed they can always go back and hit replay.
