There's got to be a will. I'm sure he knew something like this would happen and whoever has said will is probably waiting on the death certificate. At least I hope that is the case.

This whole mess is sad....Not to buy into conspiracy theories but alot of the things surrounding his death are suspect. I mean this man was a millionaire and has no damn will....I dont believe that. I believe it was destroyed by the record company or someone else.

And its just the beginning, alot will wait to file after all the results come in. Saw this happen in other high profile cases. Where there is money, there are opportunists

Its true...and people laughed when I said this could go on for years, but it could last a while...its really sad. Many people had money to gain by Prince dying and supposedly not having a will....WB and all these illegitimate family members

The repetition of this on the org has become hilarious. Whoever has said will could also now be held liable for any moneys lost, extra expenses incurred, due to their act of hiding the will from the probate court. And of course if they work in the legal profession could be in legal or career trouble.

I'm still waiting to hear the benefits to said party or to Prince's estate by such a decision. Is he thought to have written a different will for each possible cause of death? Or is this linked to some ongoing belief that Prince met with foul play?

And people had money to gain by Prince having a will. Money is there and it will be going somewhere. Future product rights are there and will be going somewhere. Real estate is there and will be going somewhere, etc.

She is Duane's grandaughter. Duane was Prince's closest sibling (up until their falling out) so out of the whole lot, I'm sure he'd want to see her taken care of. And by MN law, since her Dad and and grandfather are deceased, she is entitled to their part of the inheritance. But Tyka might fight it because I actually think Duane was a step-sibling. Prince's dad married Duane's mom and adopted him(not sure legally) after she died. If that is the case, she wouldn't be entitled to anything.
