Thank you for so many decades of excitement. With every new album, very concert in our city, your city once. Every day checking Prince.org to see where you may have popped up the night before. I can't get your songs out of my head. I can't celebrate despite what I keep hearing we should do. This is an enormous loss for me and so many of us of this generation. I think I know what it was like when Lennon died, or Kennedy was shot. Your passing is unbearable to those that truly loved you. You gave us your life through your music and I will go through it all over and over.

Of the zillion stories I have read since your passing, the story from Kirk Johnston's daughter made my sorrow deepen further....how you remembered to visit her on her first day at Caribou Coffee. It seems, despite following your every move for 30 years, I missed knowing your most beautiful part- your heart.
