No we don't need TMZ or National Enquirer threads on there. Those are both pure trash, or close to it and we don't need to pollute the site with that talk about AIDS and fake pics of Prince dead in an elevator etc. F that noise.

I couldn't agree more. Even with a sticky, we'd still have ten posts on the first page with references to Arsenio/Sinead, Gene Simmons, TMZ, and other folks hoping to either cash in and/or sensationalize the passing of Prince.

Prince's ex-wives Manuela Testolini and Mayte Garcia have put together a special memorial for the late legend.

A source tells E! News that "they wanted to have a somber memorial since they weren't allowed at the other one" and that the top-secret event was attended by only those closest to the "Purple Rain" singer.

Hours before the event, Spike Lee posted an Instagram previewing parts of his outfit, writing, "Purple beret and purple Kobe's for Prince memorial tonight in El Lay."

TMZ reports that "one of Prince's family members says they didn't hear about" the gathering this evening."

Ewww Why did they have Rev. Michael Beckwith to preside over this Memorial. He and his church, Agage International Spirual Center, is a fraud! I used to go to this church in Culver City and its was revered by many in the enterainment community and the Hollywood stars. I saw Siedah Garrett performed one Sunday after Michael Jackson's death. This church is very confusing if your are a traditional religous person. It believes in many faiths which can contradict or cancel each the other out. Plus Rev. Beckwith is the same person who wrote The Secret book a few years back who many in his Secret video regretted participating in it and the Law of Attraction idea is a fraud idea.

On other point...TMZ was right with their reporting on this event.

If Manuela planned this, why didn't they have a JW pastor speak. Didn't she convert to JW when Prince did? Or Larry Graham? (I don't know if JW do memorials or funerals, that might be why...)

Wonder why his family, with the exception of Omarr, was not invited.

I don't want to pry but I'd love to have heard the remarks.

Also the president of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences? Were they really tight with Prince?
