With the alleged problems with the estate taxes, they should really look into talking to Sirius/XM about creating a channel like Springsteen has. They could broadcast unreleased shows, which is what the Springsteen channel does. Plus, they could have the various associated artists host their own shows.

I tried to find out how Springsteen is compensated on his channel but no luck. It's got to be rewarding though, because that channel has been around for 10 years or more.

One of the best "vanity" channels on SXM is Siriusly Sinatra. What makes it good? Frank Sinatra's family (his daughter, Nancy, most notably) are extremely involved in the programming.

A Prince channel could be amazing, but not if they do it like the tribute channel - on which they just played the same stuff over and over and over again.
