I belive the recorded, and subsequently trashed, "Wally" is to be included.

You can remove Nothing Compares 2 U, and add Empty Room.

Yeah, I'd more recently heard that he wrote that after hearing about a breakup Jerome Benton had with his girlfriend. I never thought it was from Susannah. They were still very much together at that point.

Susannah told the story of "Starfish and Coffee", so she, or at least part of her and Wendy's childhood, was an inspiration for that.

I'm pretty sure Prince, in the last couple of years, said that "The Beautiful Ones" was not about Susannah. But with Prince, I always wonder when he's just trying to kill a rumor, even if it's true. Way back in the day, we all thought it was about Vanity. But it could have been about Susan. Not sure we'll ever know at this point.

Shouldn't "Strange Relationship" be on that, too?

yeah there were people in the camp who had reason to believe it was about Susannah

People use inspiration for people they are into along with other things.
I tend to believe the Beautiful Ones was inspired by her.
G-Spot and Electric Intercourse were already in that spot. He met Susannah and wanted her, wrote that song and wanted to include it instead. This is what came out of the purple camp back then.

He said in an interview (Jet magazine i believe?) he wrote The Beautiful Ones for Vanity, after she left him...he also said at the February 16th show, after she died, when dedicating songs to her, right b4 he sang the song ''she knows about this one....'' not sure about any others A lot of Purple Rain was about her, i have read that several times.

Carmen Electra even confirmed that when she talked about Prince & Vanity's deathsin April..they were the same age..passed so close together..she said she wasn't surprised bcuz she felt they were soulmates and that she knew ''Purple Rain was all about Vanity...'' that was on the msn.com website after his passing when she was interviewed.

Interesting, thanks y'all.

I saw a (really bad) gay movie a while back that Susannnah a had a bit part in.

I watched the (stupid) director's commentary and he made reference to the fact that Susannah had been engaged to Prince and that he wrote "that song" about her, but got the title wrong (He was trying to say "Nothing Compares 2 U" but he said something like "Noone is better than you" or somehow mangled the title). So I guess he wasn't a very reliable Source!!!

Didn't Prince just say that The Beautiful Ones and Adore were about Vanity himself in his concert right after her passing?

Condition of the Heart is supposed to be some kind of early story of Under the Cherry Moon

a line or two about someone being mistaken for another a fan told me was about Wendy & Susannah. You know Prince loved that whole twin thing

yeah, I was surprised at how much of the twin/gemini thing is throught his music, even earlier stuff

Even the computer blue scene movie script Wendy was supposed to be made to look like him 'Prince is going down on himself' not to mention the mother/skipper scene in the script -more twin stuff
