Against his PRINCEples but... I realize this might be against his PRINCEples BUUUUUT... I'd totally buy a Chevy Edition of a Purple to Black "limited" edition Prince inspired sports car. Not a corvette perse. It should be affordable with proceeds going to YesWeCode. Just a thought. Surprise, surprise.

You don't have to read everything or sound your opinion on everything. I'm just writing ideas. Being creative and whatnot trying to keep him relevant so his good deeds can live on. What else should we be doing? dissin', speculating, bitching... I'm confused. Surprise, surprise.

I think he had a deep appreciation for history but he mostly spoke of the future. People are sad about his passing and are wondering what they can do to get over it... I think we should just get creative how to keep him going. His next phase shouldn't be nothing more than a rehash of history. His name or image doesn't have to be on shit but his spirit, his inspiration, should keep going and serve all. The best thing to do right now is distribute the wealth. Create jobs and skilled people to do them. I thought this would be a good serious and maybe also humorous way to propose ways to keep his legacy alive. Every aspect of it. Not just the music. He is music. But what makes the music and what does the music make? Surprise, surprise.

I just never created an account cuz I could never tell if people around here actually liked him or not. Now, it's the only place I've found comfort. That may be waning. But whatever. I had a 3 door Saturn that changed from purple to black depending on the light and I always wanted to trick it out Prince style. I was going to have purple smoke airbrushed off the wheel wells too. Purple Running lights. Everyone thought it was so silly but I didn't care. I recently found Prince symbol door lights online that looked cool, but I'd want them to look like purple rain. Maybe make his symbol part of the gearshift.  But I had to get rid of it and putting that kind of money would have been foolish. Little Red Corvette came on and I thought of the Chevy tribute to him and thought what if... I ain't got '69 thunderbird money! But that would be hella cool. Surprise, surprise.

you're not the only one, I never got along with fans on here and I think once my mourning is over I'm gone. that's not to say all of them, I've seen some of the most intelligent insightful people on these forums than on any other. But there is a faction who I won't miss and it is significant. | |
