why is it so easy for people to be judgemental. We don't even know if he had a terminal illness or not. We don't know how bad whatever pain he was feeling was. some people should just grab their bottom lips and stretch them over their heads and then, not only will they shut the fuck up, they will know the meaning of pain. I knew a navy seal who was hooked on scripts, he had no choice, he had severed injuries. Also, it showed, unlike with prince, the guy nodded off working at a meat saw and cut a finger off. Prince never showed any signs of any of this. I don't think we know enough to say anything so we really should all keep our big mouths shut.

Well if it turns out that prescibed drugs for pain killed Prince, then I HOPE the discussion Finally in this country starts getting on the fact that doctors are in the same "leauge" as a drug dealer, in fact WORSE! People smoking weed are not dying left and right but I see people dying from "pain" left and right. NOW again we do not know the circumstances, but if it is TRUE i really do not want to hear the excuses that PRINCE has got money so he could get those things from a doctor any time, again if someone was selling to him than they are dealers, I don't care if they are "doctors" or a band member, a crime is a crime regardless of how the person wanted them or how much $$ they had. BUT the problem in this country is that the prescription drug companies OWN this country, that is why none are regulated, call it domestic terrorists.

As for GENE he is making a comment on a topic that is still so fresh in peoples minds, as for Prince's beliefs, that is what it is, I cannot speak on what I do not know, some are very "by the book" with religion and we know PRINCE was very much that way, but to play monday morning quarterback is not helping.

No one KNOWS.. either you, reading Gene's mind, or Gene speculating on the cause of death when the full autopsy reports have not been issued.

i'm inclined to believe we still don't know enough. we jump to the drug stuff because we've seen it so many times with other people. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some serious health problems like cancer and that he didn't want it out because he didn't want to hear all the worrying from us. I mean, that's pretty understandable. If you know you're going to die, you don't want to hear people whining about it. Also, I think the rumors of aids are very possibly from some insider who saw Prince sickly and just started that. People see someone not doing well and it's automatically aids.

Me too. Whats the harm of waiting for the facts. However he coped with his situation, is HIS choice.

What is the need to rush to label his death. Its like he deteriorated very quickly.. in a matter of months physcially. Mentally, he was performing on top of his game. To me, thats all that matters. Musically, he was a force to be wreckoned with until his very last moment. He gave us his all.

I think Gene Simmons should not have said what he said regarding Prince. IMO Prince loved life and just worked himself to death. I always thought Prince over worked him self, doing all those after shows for like over 30 years straight would have an effect on anybody. Honestly I thought Prince was the hardest working man in show biz.
