Reaching out Hello
Sorry for the late post but it took a few days before i could post.
I am not what you would call a Prince fan. I mean I loved his 80's tunes but then became an MJ fan.
Anyway i just wanted to come here and offer you my prayers and thoughts at what is a very difficult time for you all. I truly am thinking of you.
Like you all, on 25th June 2009, i felt like my world has been ripped apart and in the following days, months, years i went through the whole grieving process and still to this day feel an empty hole. The whole process was not helpled by all the media speculation, lies, demeaning comments, the tarring of his image. In some ways i see the same thing happening to Prince and of recent has taken me back in time.
Whilst i have been waiting to post i have been reading some of your posts and cannot believe i did not pay attention to Prince over the years. Dang what a handsome and dare i say bad ass sexy man.
One thing that got me through these last years was other fans. No one understands the loss more that other fans and we really did support each other and i hope you will find comfort from doing the same. Remebering the good times and supporting each other through the bad.
I know that i can speak for other Mj fans when i say we are thinking of you all, we send you lots of love and support in not only dealing with the loss but also for the challenging times that will be ahead of you.

Albeit to late i am going to enjoy discovering the artist and his music. So far my favourite song has been his acostic version of Cream. Hence my username

thanks. i was wrecked after mj but not like this. sadly i get now what it was like for you guys. once you enter the tunnel, its easy to feel the darkness the ones before you have felt. sigh.... Beautiful words. I'm still not over Michael's passing and its been almost 7 years. Losing Prince hit me just as hard as the day I found out that Michael was gone. Two of my favorite singers are gone..now what? Forever In My Life, forever in my heart. I love you Prince Rogers Nelson  | |
