Vote to give Prince a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!! Prince does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (but Donald Trump does!). Prince's lack of recognition in one of the most well-known tributes in the world is a travesty of the highest caliber. Sign the petition on: Change.org to implore the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to give Prince a posthumous Star so the world can honor him in the company of legends the way he deserves.
It's easy! Go to: Change.org In the search box, search for: Prince Look for the topic that votes for a star for Prince on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Just learned;
"Prince was approached on two occasions about the possibility of being nominated for a star and he stated that the timing was not right," the Walk of Fame said in a Facebook post Friday in response to questions about the notably absent star. "We would have loved to honor this very deserving talent. It is unfortunate that it did not work out."
Ana Martinez, a Walk of Fame ceremonies producer, said in a statement that an application was never submitted on behalf of the Purple One, but he could still be honored posthumously, though the waiting period for that is five years.

Having a star on the Walk Fame just smacks of desperation...they are not given in recognition as you have to pay for them. Prince didn't want one, Prince didn't need one...they are nothing special. What's wrong with the world 2day?

As a compromise, I'd like to petition Change.org to request a star for "Donald Trump Black Version" next to the Donald Trump one. That would be closer to what Prince would want. No Candy 4 Me | |
