My April 23, 2016 wedding I just wanted to tell my story. I have been a fan of Prince since the beginning. I just can't wrap my head around his passing. I got engaged about 9 months ago and spent about 8 months planning my wedding. I decided right away that we would get married in April and that my theme would be "Sometimes it Snows in April". My wedding party would walk down the aisle to "Te Amo Corazon" and I would walk down the aisle to "When 2 R IN Love". Our wedding took place on April 23rd.(2 days after Prince passed away!) We were decorating our venue when we heard of his passing. Needless to say, the wedding was bittersweet. As soon as I heard his voice singing "When 2 R in Love", the tears started flowing. I'm very glad I had my wedding themed to Prince. It turned out to be a very beautiful tribute to him and his music, as well as a beautiful new beginning for my husband and myself. I just wanted to share my story with someone who gets it." LIVE 4 LOVE AND LOVE WILL LIVE 4 YOU!"

That's awesome! I have a wedding business and a shop on etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/UptownGirlzz) and make bouquets, etc. I have contacted my vendors and am having pieces made for me with Prince related items such as the cloud guitar, music notes, etc. and am going to do a "purple rain" brooch style bouquet in all shades of purple, etc. for true fans, like myself. Do you guys think this is too limited and won't have an audience? I appreciate your input! Eventually every cloud runs out of rain. | |

I would kill for that brooch bouquet. I think they'll sell. I worked in the Bridal industry for about 2 years, everyone likes themes these days. Etsy is very popular with that stuff as well. Keep it up, I hope it's successful
