I started to get spooiled. I moved to a town about three hours from Paisley Park a couple of years ago. I went to Paisley Park three times while I was living there. Then I moved away, about 5 and a half hours from Paisley Park, last fall. I kept meaning to make the trip but never did. I didn't want to risk the drive in the winter. I thought I'd have plenty of time this summer. I'm sad I didn't take advantage of it when I lived closer and gone to every Paisley Park event. But I'm happy I got to go those grew times. I will cherish those memories I made forever. I also got to go to Welcome 2 Chicago and two Welcome 2 America dates. I'm happy I got to see him as much as I did but I definitely wish I had seen him more.

I regret that I didn't get to see the Piano & Microphone tour (I had been planning to fly to the States to see the rumoured Red Rocks show), but I got a great fill of recent Prince gigs, living near London. .

I am a person to not believe in regrets but I truly regret that I have never seen him perform. I typically don't go to concerts because I hate crowds but he was one person I would have made the exception for but never got around to going.
If the family has a public memorial service I will drive to Minnesota from Chicago to attend.
I don't know about anyone else but since his death, I search and search to read or watch anything about Prince. Except I refuse to read any of the gossip behind how he died. I want to remember how he lived and the many lives he touched.
Sirius's tribute channel and this site has really helped. Thanks to everyone that contributes their feelings, information and thoughts on here.

No. I'm upset that he is dead because it seems it could have been avoided, I would give anything for him to still be alive and never perform again ... just be alive .. Forever changed

My last concert was the first January 21st, Piano & Microphone gala concert. That show was the best last show possible imo. It was autobiographical, incredibly intimate and it featured a lot of songs I didn't think I'd see him play live. The last song I saw Prince play live was "Anna Stesia," from my favorite album Lovesexy.

I had front row seats and couldn't get to the last show. Upset? No. I'm grateful that I had a front row seat to what I consider the greatest musician that ever lived. I've been riding with Prince since 1978. I've seen the entire ride. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

I'm disappointed that I won't be able to see him again. I love live music...but he was my top one to always want to go see. I did not live in the US for a couple decades...so I did not get to see him back then....despite always wanting to and been on the ride since 8th or 9th grade. (Im 47 now). I started back to see him live in 2010 and tried for as many shows as I could or could afford at that time.
I saw him last year around now (May 2015)....this time last year for Mother's Day. Got tix as a Mothers Day gift. I'm grateful that I saw him as many times as I did and my last show.(even though 3rd Eye Girl)
I'm more disappointed for the next generations not to be able to see him or know him like we did. Real musician, real performers. My daughter asked to come and I had said 'next time' (since the tix are so $$)...I do wish I had brought her now... [Edited 5/9/16 7:12am]

I too felt so sad I will never get to see him perform live again Then I felt so selfish for thinking that way....should really be grateful for all the times I saw him. Easier said than done as my heart still hurts

Had a very similar feeling at that show, and as you said I think it was because we'd gotten so lucky lately with a ton of UK shows I thought it would be another few years before he came back. Little did we know ... www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

Me too. 04/21/2013 Portland show I missed. 2 shows almost $350 each that nite would have been close to $700 at the Roseland Night Club venue. Cheap tickets sold out. I could not find full time work at the time and was struggling. I HATE MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I last saw him two years ago in Manchester. Prior to that, I hadn't seen him since 2007 when he did the 02 run. My most intensive gig going was between 1990 - 1995. In later years, I had problems getting to see him because I don't live near London and health issues mean I can't queue for hours outside venues anymore etc. Manchester was perfect as I had plenty of time to organize an hotel, trains and so on and sort out time off from work. I was so thrilled I got a ticket and the show I saw was amazing, he still seemed so manically energetic and totally on top of his game.
I like a lot of artists, but no one will ever come close to Prince for me. I feel sad that I will never see him again and experience the incredible excitement and thrill of seeing someone who was just so staggeringly good and so incredibly charismatic.
I remain very thankful for all the gigs I saw, all the good times, all the memories. He made me so happy and brought joy into my life for so many years. It's a big loss, so I think it's ok to be sad for a while. I feel particularly for people who saw him recently, literally days before he died, or who attended his last gig. It must feel particularly shocking and upsetting on many levels. As it was over two years ago when I saw him, I guess I have a bit more distance from it. I saw some of the pics from his final gig and they brought tears to my eyes - but he lived for music and I admire his professionalism and commitment to his craft, right until the end. He never complained, never explained, true class.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Prince many times over the years, but the best is knowing that I saw him on March 25, 2016 at the Sony Centre in Toronto (second show). It was so awesome and I feel so fortunate. I will treasure that last show forever.

i saw him 10 times in just couple of years, but i'm really upset i never got to see the Piano and microphone show, i was so looking forward to see that tour or hoping that he would come (plans for european tour... you know what happened.... last year and this year i heard rumors again) but it never happened and i'm upset about that. and that last gig is almost 2 years ago. one week before he died, i thought about when will Prince come and play europe/The Netherlands again... last gig i saw was such a great one though(ziggo dome)... and the one before was my fav gig(Paradiso 1st show)... so im grateful for that. I am thankful that I saw him 3 times. I'm sad I never saw him more, like when he played at the O2, but I've been bringing up my kids by myself and just couldn't get away for the night. I also got invited to an after show once and never went, urghh, I was 16 and worried about getting home from London! I wish I had gone Thank u 4 a funky time

I really did want to see the piano and mic tour. It seems like it was going to be intimate and enlightening.
I wish I went to Atlanta.

I'm so thankful for the times I did see him, in concert and a handful of times at Paisley. I haven't seen him since 2002 though. I'd held out hope I'd see him again one day. It really hits me hard in the gut to know that will never happen now.

There were so many long-time fans who never got to see him. As you know, it's best to be thankful for the time you did see him...
I saw him several times the summer of 95 at Paisley Park. Then again last November (the James Bond movie performance), and finally in January at the first ever Piano and a Microphone. I learned after the '95 shows to journal the shows as soon as I got home (sometimes at 3 or 4am). I figured, he's probably recording a new song, so i can stay up a few minutes to ensure I never forget this night.
I keep staring at his twitter feed waiting for the empty space to fill...

You really tapped into my feelings. I wouldn't care if he never played another concert or recorded another song. I just want him alive again. He had so much living left to do. I'm still nearly paralyzed in grief over this. It's actually literally killing my marriage.

Gonna say something that in reality is totally dumb...
I am so pissed at those Isalmic terrorists who attacked Paris in November 2015. If that attack had not happened then Prince would not have cancelled his UK Piano & Microphone tour and I would have seen him one more time! why is that dumb...because of the wider context and how many innocent people died that night in Paris. But it does give me one more reason to hate terrorists! [Edited 5/10/16 11:49am] 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

several prince songs mention death but the temporary kind. i think any1 who choose 2 believe can at least see him living outside of time but in this dimension, sometimes 1 has 2 go in2 hiding. hope it gets better 4 ur marriage. flowing through the veins of the tree of life...purplemaplesyrup

I'm 33 and am from a nowhere town in Texas that he never came near, and am poor, so it never happened. I almost spent my paycheck to go to the Atlanta show(plane tickets, show tickets, hotel, rental car) but had a family emergency come up so I couldn't. Biggest regret of my life. I have to be satisfied with the few experiences I had with him personally in my childhood/teen years( long stories that I'm not disclosing, but we got to communicate via mail and online a bit when I was younger). I'm living vicariously through the show videos as I always have.
