The very fact that he did his Piano and Microphone Tour, playing the piano only in memory of his dad speaks volumes to me that he was reaching out to people in his past!!

I too would love to know how you knew P was at a private memorial for Vanity. Questlove was there for all of that and he would have mentioned P being there, since we all know he can't shut his mouth for shit.

He did according to Vargas Sieloff who designed his early outfits in The Orange County Register dated April 22 http://www.ocregister.com...argas.html She said “He looked very frail,” she said. “He had been sick. He should have been in bed. I think he worked himself to death.”

I am not sure I would believe anything out of Appollonia's mouth. She rubs me the wrong way and has for years.

She just saw him in February at the “Life Celebration Ceremony” after the death of Prince’s former girlfriend Denise Matthews, known as Vanity. Vargas Sieloff said Prince was mobbed by selfie-seeking fans. He sat in the church balcony and left before the service ended.

“He looked very frail,” she said. “He had been sick. He should have been in bed. I think he worked himself to death.

Andre Cymone reached out to him just a few days before he passed, but it was Bobby Z who actually got through to Prince.

"The last time we corresponded was when I heard about the plane [which had an emergency landing because of Prince getting ill mid-flight on April 15]. I reached out to get a hold of him. I called a bunch of different people. I called his sister and she said she’d try to give him the message. I called Bobby Z and he said he’d try to get him the message. Finally, Bobby got a hold of him and he sent a text to me. Bobby pasted it and sent it to me. Prince said, "I’m OK. When I get to L.A., we’ll hook up."
That was it. And I guess maybe five days later he was gone."
