Prince Billboard Issue selling for $99??? The issue that came out a week ago.
Was thinking about getting a copy.
Went on Billboard, Amazon and Ebay?? $89 - $99?

That's ridiculous. I bought my issue directly from Billboard Back Issues online and paid the retail price for it. In fact, I don't even believe there was a shipping charge. However, it wasn't that great. There's a lot better tribute magazines that have come out. PLEASE, don't pay that much money for it!!! If a man is considered guilty

This one is pretty shoddy, they supposedly recap his entire career but in actuality they bizarrely skip over the Purple Rain era and barely touch the last 10-15 years. Certainly not worth purchasing as a tribute. Lurking since '07 | |

The Billboard website has had quite a few good articles about him over the past two weeks, were none of them in the issue itself? Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

You can find the PDF for this issue. Also Billboard sells a digital copy for $4.99 ipad and probably other tablets only. I think the pictures are probably clearer on the digital version as well. It is a great issue, 34 pages. The Jamie Starr picture alone is worth it.

TIME magazine is the best one that I have seen, Newsweek I also got. The rolling Stone issue is too thin, possibly they will have a whole thing for Prince coming. Special Prince Editions of Time, People, and Newsweek are all good. Time being the best one imo. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |
