Didn't realize who his muse was for this one..like the song Free so much, from the album 1999. Also, he changed the words for my other all time favorite song The Beautiful Ones for a tribute to Vanity..... This is from memoirs of an urban gentleman website.

Thanks, I most definately want to hear these shows. My cousin went and raved about how Prince was so candid and tender towards her.

From everything i have read..it was emotional and really difficult for him, to the point he had to sort of appologize for the tough time he was having keeping his focus after he was told about her passing

She apparently was his ''muse'' not to mention pretty involved in the recording of many of those songs on 1999..she was also again, his muse and involved in the writing/recording/making of the movie Purple Rain until she left Prince half way through production for her solo deal with Motown Records and Berry Gordy.
