Prince did not die from pain pills — he died from chronic pain

We still don't know what contributed to Prince's death, but, I found this article to be a good one.

During and after all the big wars, there was traditionally an expected period of dealing with veterans who developed dependencies while medicating war injuries. They weren't taking drugs recreationally, and neither was Prince.

So very true. When you are in pain, all you care about is stopping it. Before I got my epidural while in labor I wanted to kill anyone within five feet of me, I can't imagine having pain 24 - 7. Shouldn't Prince's hip surgery have fixed that ? How awful for him.

Pain makes you a different person and sometimes you don't even realize how it affects, how much pai you're you until you get relief. However that happens.

I wonder if advances in CORRECTING the pain are stunted by the Big Pharma people. They say there's no money in the cure. If more money was put into advancing bionic hips maybe Prince could have just become half machine.

I always thought he'd have himself cryogenically frozen. I thought that what AOA was implying anyway.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

I have a cousin with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which is a problem with the cartilege in your joints and causes chronic pain - the best treatment is opioids. From Wikipedia:

"Many sufferers of EDS have psychological difficulties as a result of frustration with the medical system and the socially inconvenient combination of appearing normal while being in severe pain."

She says it's just horrible... could be what was wrong with P. Symptoms of some forms of EDS include kids born with Pfeiffer syndrome: https://www.gbhealthwatch...etails.php

I could understand maybe at some level just being... tired.

Yes, it definitely is. sad It exhausts you physically and mentally, and can crush a person's spirit after awhile too besides making a person feel physically miserable or limiting what they can do.

I don't care how he died. Hollywood caught up to him, but I'm glad he was able to live his life on his terms. TMZ was almost Prince-less in his life. Let the tabloids go crazy now, fuck 'em.

Whatever reason he died from, I love the fact that he continued making music and performing until the end and didn't play the sympathy card about whatever he was struggling with, health-wise.

So far it seems as if he died from an unsucessful therapy of chronic pain.
