Thanks for the update. I remember being excited for the purple pick, updating Tidal to see what it was. Now it's Wednesday and I hadn't given it a thought, only looked at the thread because I saw it in the sticky list and had a look. Such a wasted opportunity .

I remember when we got new songs on pp but it didn't last long

To discover new music, yes!

My favorite is still "Free Urself".

I hope Phase 3 gets a release. C'mon, Prince! Release it!

My re-newed subscription ended this week (got 4 months for the price of 1) and for now I'm not extending it.

The PP could be a great way to keep Prince fans but it's a big dissapointment. Last decent new tracks were Free Urself and IECGYA. Now that they have a download store, a subscription isn't needed anyway.

But yes, still checking it every monday hoping that one day we'll get something nice again!

This week: Sometimes it snows in april, because of Parade's 30th birthday.

It's kind of sad indeed. To celebrate the release with his fans he/they could at least give us something that isn't available for streaming/downloading (extended version, b-side, whatever).

A nice pick from time to time could be a reason for me to stick around longer at Tidal, but it has no advantages at this point.

While I would've loved for Prince to throw that early demo for the song that was on sale a while back as his pick this week, I'm totally okay with this pick. Then again, it's snowing here in New Jersey so I'm kind of obligated to be okay with it

I've now got a super 42 mins new playlist of lovely new music from his choices. It's like he's working for me I will need to buy them all on ITunes though. Hope Tidal changes this soon. It's great how one song listen leads to another search and another new track/artist to find, so I'm tickled purple right now!
