Prince Is Still Alive Because Of The Vault If it's true about the vault Prince is going to be productive for at least two decades! It'll almost be like he's still here. Okay that's just me being optimistic. BUT I would have loved for Freddie Mercury to have a vault.

When I hear anybody say that The Vault contents should never be released, I feel like they're trying to make Prince more dead somehow. I actually find it a bit shocking.

I would not go that far. I would say much of what made him special to us is still with us and hopefully we will be able to have many more experiences for decades to come. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Definitely. Prince saved and stored the music for a reason. I mean I would hope only the best and complete material would be released but looking at what happens to most dead superstars you can expect them to scrape the bottom of the barrel eventually.

prince himself (in the last few years) said they would be someday... if he did not want to keep them...why did he keep them? Now we can not say "if he wanted them out he would have released them" as he recorded too damn much to release. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

I'm positive his family will release the vault, even if it's only to keep the money coming in... Maybe one album per year, like in the 80s.

Prince could keep them in the vault because he could always tour... so yes we will see the vault come out "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

"Prince has enough finished unreleased music to put out a new album every year for the next 100 years."
Flash forward to 2112. A space station is orbitting the cosmos. Inside, a group of twenty-somethings is gathered at a coffee shop. "Hey," one of them says, "Are you guys gonna go to that Prince Hologram concert on Mars this weekend?"
"Pfft," replies one of the cynical hipsters in the group, "Prince hasn't released a decent album since 2086. I prefer his older stuff from the 2070s."

I'm hoping they might reach out to the .org. Between us all, we know what's up.
Casuals can get some of course, but hardcore fans? well.. we'll be needing box sets. Right?
