if they come out with interesting stuff, sure. for all the talk of how P treated musicians, most of them were like a ship without a captain without him. Being a leader isn't all about being a buddy. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are legends in their own right. Outside of that, how many of his people did anything worth listening to on their own? Jesse Johnson had his moments, Morris seemed to lose his head in addiction, the others haven't done much without Prince's guidance. Sheila E. actually had some really good albums on Paisley Park but what did she do when she left, i never even heard anything.

Ive always liked Jesse's music even with all his issues lol Ive been a fan of his since I was a child. Im gonna get bricks for this, but I was never into the Family boxed couldnt get past St. Paul falloff

I now know where Squirrelmeat came from falloff

Jesse's music is my favourite. I can see why Prince feared him. Not liking the Family? Cool. Same Goes for Jill Jones. I love them both, but can understand that some people don't.

You just realised where SquirrelMeat came from? (Superfunkycalifragisexi). Before you realised, why did you think I picked the name? Tiny Penis!? lol lol

Jesse shamelessly copied a lot of Prince, down to his vocals, mannerisms, look. Some of his music is amongst the best representation of the Minneapolis Sound though.

Most of the people who Prince fired actually had good careers afterwards so dont say that they couldnt exist professionally without him. Wendy and Lisa released several albums post prince and they are composers cause we wouldnt have the original "heroes" theme without them. Anna Garcia aka Anna Fantastica is a realtor and very lovely. Sheila E has done session work for other people. Sheila E has been on several reality shows and was even a judge on one. Sheila E has been an author and just released a book not too long ago. Oh and lets not forget that Sheila was the musical director for Beyonce's last tour which was like 2 years ago. Alexander O'neal had most of his hits post prince and he was on celebrity big brother UK. Oh and lets not forget about Mayte. Mayte has done films and tv shows and even modeled without using Prince's name to get ahead. Plus Mayte runs a pet rescue and it looks like it is doing really good too. Oh and there is Nona Gaye and Carmen Electra who were able to foray into semi successful film careers without being attached to Prince. I could go on and on but you see my point. Most of the people who prince fired cried for a minute over it but they went on to make pretty good lives for themselves in spite of it. I love prince and i am sad for his passing like all of you are but the world did not revolve around him from a professional standpoint for his proteges.

Sheila E. had a career as a percussionist before she ever met Prince. Her father is the famous musician Pete Escovedo.

In the past years I have really liked who he has worked with, Andy Allo I would follow I donated to her CD fund. Fdeluxe I have pretty much everything they release and have gone to see them. Judith Hill I like alot, and people like Jesse and Wendy & Lisa I always bought them so I am not going to stop. Also I don't think people need to be worrie that the Revolution is going to start putting out albums, I mean they are doing shows in his honor not releasing or recording new music as a unit.

I've followed Wendy and Lisa since Waterfall and they've made five outstanding albums imho. Girl Bros is their masterpiece. The albums either side of it are classics too. It helps that they have a small discography, but of all the acts I love, their average album rating would be hard to beat.

In theory, I'd follow Eric Leeds and Levi Seacer Jr, but haven't done it so far.

I am hoping for the Reveloution shows to feature D'Angelo on vocals. Thats about as close as we can get to having our Prince back sad

I don't doubt any of their talent and I'm not surprised that some have careers. I thought the question was would you follow the? None of them, Jam and Lewis either have come up with consistent stuff that I want to listen to. It's just me and I wouldn't say other people shouldn't like someone's music. I didn't really like Wendy and Lisa's first album either, my best friend raved about it, I didn't think much of it. And even on PP some of the artists never really got ahold of me. Jill Jones, very, very pretty but I couldn't get into her stuff. Now, Sheila? Oh god I loved her albums on PP just loved them and think they should have been better recieved especially, was it the one titled "Sheila E" , anyway the one with The Pride And The Passion, it was a fantastic fucking album that should have been heard. Not only for the great songs and production but also for her vast improvements as a vocalist.
