BillieBalloon	Why is pearl smoking on the cover of diamonds and pearls? I've also seen them with cigs in interviews. But he was anti smoking wasn't he. Just wondering. Baby, you're a star. Meet me in another world, space and joy

SPYZFAN1	Lisa smoked in "P.R". I even recall seeing some promo band shots of her with cigs.

Prince was against mind altering substances. Even though he didn't smoke himself I think he didn't mind others doing it too much.

The Diamonds & Pearls aesthetic was kind of a "Guys and Dolls" type retro 50's thing, and smoking was cool back then.
