I was shocked 2 find out he was suffering with so much pain. That hurts me the most. It might seem a bit silly but I was shocked 2 see pics of him running errands & riding his bike in that car park. Also something about him going 2 a local coffee shop. I always thought he had assistants do that kind of thing 4 him. It says a lot about the locals tho if he did in fact frequent the coffee shop etc. Coz we never heard of it or saw pics. "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

MissMarySharon said: I last saw him two years ago in Manchester, and I was staggered by his energy - I thought how well he seemed and how little had changed in terms of his amazing stage performances.
I am shocked by his death - he seemed so youthful for a man his age, and given that he seemed to have led such a clean life, it seemed unlikely he wouldn't see old age. I had no idea he had any particular health issues, other than the hip problem, mention of which I'd seen here and in the media.
I don't think I ever felt I "knew" him - I think even to some of his close associates, he was probably at times unknowable. I got the feeling he was an intensely private person across the board. So much about him was mysterious, even his death, and that will probably leave many unanswered questions. U
I have the utmost sympathy for his suffering and I can well believe he was able to keep it hidden.
Even if he was addicted to recreational drugs (and I don't believe he was), it would make no difference to me. I loved him unconditionally and always will, I didn't have to know everything about him then and I don't now. His mystique was something very attractive to me. In a world where over sharing of everything has reached uber proportions, his desire for privacy was yet another thing that placed him apart from most celebrities. I agree. Even though today we know alot more about celebrities than we use to and probably more than we should. Prince has always been mysterious and because of the way he passed he will always be a mystery. But in interviews he seemed oddly very normal especially the interviews from 1996-present. sitting at the NBA games chatting it up with Dave Chappell, Ludicrous, Samuel Jackson. As for the hip problem I've always thought that was another rumor. He did still seemed youthful but I've always felt he would pass soon just not this soon. I was thinking maybe around 2019.
