Can one of the mods make this thread a sticky please? Thanks
... it's worth it, there are so many good articles to read now or save for later reading so it's great to have them all together. I have saved many articles already as well, locally via Save Page As .., via bookmarks and also by adding them in the browser plugin Pocket.

Yes, thank U. "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15 | |

Prince remembered by Simon Raymonde of the Cocteau Twins, a band Prince was a fan of....
**Oh boy. 2016 is one brutal year for taking the special ones, and there goes another with the magnificent Prince. As naturally gifted as Stevie Wonder, he was PROLIFIC and no one put on a better show than Prince. You wanna talk about VALUE for money?? He gave back WAY more than anyone could have expected. And blow me down, he was a fan of our band! Yes, he loved us and boy we loved him. It's almost surreal to imagine him listening to Blue Bell Knoll and Heaven Or Las Vegas. I was lucky to see him play 4 times and i remember the shows like i remember great films. Scenes stay with you. He'd been putting out music for almost 40 years. And i reckon he released about 38 albums in that time! And that was just as Prince! He also had about 22 aliases as well. This is monumentally sad, unexpected and unwelcome news. When the world is teetering on the edge of collapse and ruin, we need our music and our culture more than ever. It is the mast we cling to, the tarpaulin we shelter under. This year, hope is being tested daily, and it can only make us stronger to continue pushing our fine young artists out to you, in the hope that they, like Prince has done for so many years, can provide some respite from the relentless unease that most of us feel on a daily basis. Prince Rogers Nelson rest in peace. Never to be forgotten.**
If you REALLY want to get emotional and cry some more, listen to The Cocteau Twins and look at old pictures of Prince....
