If this is true, why were the staff not keeping an eye on him? Why did they allow him to leave the hospital?

This all strikes me as the most plausible of the theories reported so far. Which is too bad, he was a couple days away from getting help.

My theory would be, Prince gets what Prince wants. No one would tell him no. If he wants to leave the hospital, he leaves. If he want to be alone, they leave him alone.

They were his employees. The boss generally doesn't take orders from the worker bees.

Prince was responsible for the decisions he made, no one else. He was a grown man not a child.

Hold up. This is standard procedure for anyone who takes pain meds. So they do not become hooked, since heroin addiction comes from pill addiction. I still think he died of another issue. If it was just drugs we would have had the outcome by now.

I don't deny Prince made his own decisions, but if the staff knew there was a big problem there needed to be a little tough love, right? If his entire staff banded together, would Prince have fired them all on the spot? Maybe, maybe not. Atleast they gave it their all to help him...

No, we wouldn't have. From the beginning we were told that toxicology results could take weeks. Toxicology results, BTW, are the only way to know with 100% certainty. So no.

You have to think about how difficult it makes it for them to moderate everything though. They cannot be everywhere.

Well, damn. The prescription painkiller epidemic is truly ravaging the country. Prince would probably be alive today had he listened to reaon and stayed in the hospital.

Exactly, which is why I don't believe the report. If his situation was a "serious medical emergency" I find it very odd that he would be left alone. It's amazing how many reports have been flying into the media since he passed. The only report that I care about and will believe is the full autopsy report.
