did i imagine a game where u make music or something involving paisley park?

The only one I've ever heard of is Interactive, from Graphix Zone. And it wasn't really a game, per se. Although, you did have to find 5 pieces of the symbol to put together, then you got air lifted out of there, and watched an exclusive video.

I ended up, years later, browsing the disk and finding all the audio clips and samples (and one wav file of the guys who made the CD-ROM). You can find separate tracks to "Race", and play around with them on your own. (You can do that in the game as well in the Studio - on the karaoke machine.)

Yeah it was a PC game, it was around the same era as Sega CD though. I got it in one of those discount multipack CD-Rom things, it was pretty bad. Watching the music videos from the program file folders and avoiding the "game" altogether was definitely the way to go.

I remember when the Sega CD came out and I begged my folks to get me one. I never did though. It was an add-on for the Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis in the US).

The "Make My Video" thing on it was supposed to be a series, but I remember the reviews for it were TERRIBLE so maybe the series got canned? The one I remember reading out back in the day was one for Kriss Kross.
