Live recordings of 2016
I have just listened to the full audio recording of his last (2nd) show in Atlanta (on 14th April) currently on youtube and wondered if anybody knew of any possibilities that this - or any other 2016 shows - might become officially available.
Not sure how many of you have listened to this yet (or even attended the show in person), but it is incredibly powerful especially considering it is just Prince and his piano. Emotional is an understatement to describe what it feels like to listen to. It is deeply soul-stirring and humbling. It has been an emotional roller-coaster for me over the past week and a half, and I could not stop the tears roll down again while I was listening.
This coupled with a few clips of the show, also seen on youtube, reveals what might be considered a few clues as to what was going on in his life before, well you know... But I'll let you discover this yourself. Sigh...
Sorry if this seems a little all over the place, and perhaps overlaps with another thread, but my eyes and mind are not exactely back in their usual place yet. Anyway, it helps a little to be "home" again (I am a returning newby), even under such circumstances.

During his final public appearance he apparently played a recording of the show and said it was going to be released. Sure it was mentioned in another thread on here.

The last 2 shows he made should be the next release, in a few weeks, with a dvd because I guess it was filmed. But They will never find this in the vault. This or anything else (cf Michael Jackson) I hope to be proven wrong, but there won't be any posthumous release. The time they clear the legal issues, nobody will care.

Thank you for your replies. It would be interesting to know who is in charge of future releases now that he is not longer around. Again, sorry if this has already been discussed or provided, I haven't had much time to catch up with all the discussions yet. Life Matters

If you're interested, there's an official recording of Black Sweat from the 2nd Atlanta show on Tidal that was released shortly before his death. The beginning sounds like a bootleg, but when the lyrics begin - the recording becomes the higher quality soundboard recording.
