Sometimes, I want to learn about those who he looked up to. I've seen the James Brown movie, and I've seen the Jimi Hendrix special on PBS. I've heard him mention Joni Mitchell, and Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, among other groups and artists.

Could we possibly list what the names of those specials or documentaries are? I'd like to look for them, and purchase them to learn about the music behind the man who made us love him so much.

If we just started with just influences, I bet we would have quite a list put together in a few days.
