The Memoir What's the possibility that Prince was working feverishly on his memoir during the week he infamously didn't sleep for 154 hours? I can only he assume he was working on the memoir or recoding more music. Maybe there are more than 50 pages complete and it's in the vault.

The gossip going around that he was awake for 154 is not true. His brother-in-law said he was misquoted.

I wonder what is going to happen to the memoir too. Incomplete memoirs have been published before so who knows. Maybe they will bulk it out with pictures and quotes from people who knew him to make it more substantial. Baby, you're a star.

Yes, I'm thinking it will still come out but in the form of another book...

I was surprised when the memoir was announced but didn't really think it would have been very revealing. Most Bio's of celebs only show what they want to show. Then we have Prince, a guy who has always been very mysterious and private. This is one thing that I can't say that any of us lost out on. Could be wrong, but like he said, they offered him good money and he was willing to take it. Doesn't mean he would have been very revealing.

I wonder who will attempt to finish the book.

Prince famously never slept much and from what I understand, Pecocet causes drowsiness and tiredness. Maybe he was on a mission to finish recording or writing his memoirs that he took something to counter the sleepiness and keep him awake which reacted with the percocet. If he knew his days were numbered, I can see Prince thinking that sleep was a real waste of time and would do everything he could to stay awake. His brother in laws comments may not have been so widely off the mark, despite him claiming he was misquoted.

I'm wondering whether the publishers will attempt to reclaim a percentage of any advance from the Estate because the memoir is incomplete. [Edited 6/23/16 13:34pm] "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..."

I knew a girl who did them for recreation and sbe would chatter non stop and get very hyper [Edited 6/23/16 14:00pm] "Almost all art is trying to become an anaesthetic and at the same time a healing session drawing up the magical electrics.”
