I need this photo to be burned...I mean damn disappear forever.

For all we know, this photo could have been taken months ago. Whilst I believe Prince did visit a Walgreens the day before, since when did a journalist ever let the accuracy of a photo get in the way of breaking a news story?

.

.

The dreary weather of the photo definitely matches up to what the weather here was like that Wednesday. so there's that. shrug I thought TMZ did take this photo and assumed they were following him around because of the Moline incident only a few days prior, and since there were drug and OD suspicions about that almost from the jump, TMZ was keeping their stupid big eye on him and his activities. But like I said, that's what I assumed. Maybe a fan did take this pic like nursev said...?

Cuz I just remembered that TMZ used fan taken video of him riding his bike in that strip mall parking lot, so maybe TMZ weren't in MN following him around.

So was he pacing back and forth in the parking lot waiting for someone to bring out his prescription, or did he go in and get his prescription and was just walking back to the car? I keep hearing it both ways, something's missing. Prescriptions can be called in and held so there is no waiting, they can be delivered to your home which is really confusing to me that Prince actually picked his up. Unless it's a prescription he got from his doctor's appointment that day. I wish there was a clear coherent story, I hate these tidbits.

There's also a Drive- through at that particular Walgreens. Can't you sign from the car?

Because of this thread I used google streetview to look all around the Walgreens / shopping center where it all went down. So surreal to see the everyday setting for these events that have so much importance to us in light of events.

I live 5 blocks away and frequent that Walgreens, it breaks my heart to know that he was there, that close to me at possibly a very low point. I just feel guilty, I know there's nothing I could do for him, but it makes me feel guilty knowing he was so close.

According to KSTP's story on the day of his death, he has visited the hospital on Wednesday before being dropped off at PP. Perhaps he received the prescription while at the hospital, and then stopped at Walgreen on the way home so that it could be filled right away.

if he got the scrip AT the hospital, he could've gotten it filled at the hospital pharmacy. however, I don't believe a hospital visit to treat an OD would result in a scrip for more Percocet.

Does anyone know which Hospital? There are only 2 major ones nearby and neither would put this Walgreens location on the way back to PP.

I assumed that this was from the surveillance camera at Walgreens? Does anyone know for sure that it's not?

This depth of field thing is bugging me, it sure would be nice for someone nearby like yourself to attempt to recreate that pic because I don't believe it.

I'm not very talented with cameras, but I could have my daughter attempt. feels kind of morbid. Last Monday I decided to deliberately drive by that spot, and I got rear ended at the stop light by someone going 40mph! If I just would've minded my business and went straight to Target instead of cutting through Walgreens, my back and neck wouldn't be killing me today sad

I totally understand where your coming from. I think if all of us had the opportunity to help Prince we would. I just wish there was someone with him that night. If someone was with him, when he got dizzy in the elevator, they could have given cpr immediatley, and held him until help came. I know it is not right to do what ifs, but I am sure any of us would have wanted to help him. sad Dang, now I am sad again just thinking about it. sad

I wonder if it is St Francis over there in Shakopee. I lived right next to Chanhassen in Chaska, and I know that is a very close hospital. Oh and sorry to hear about your Walgreens parking lot incident! Hope you feel better soon!

So it was just revealed today that he was seeing a doctor at North Memorial clinic (Minnetonka) which is two blocks from that Walgreens. As of today, that Doctor is under investigation and no longer with that clinic.
