I find it difficult to believe that Prince (who so tightly controlled so many things in his life and music) did not leave a will. My feeling is, in true Prince fashion, Prince's will could be in the form of something cryptic imbedded in an unreleased song in the Vault. No reason to believe this, but I have just been thinking about the possibility.
