I know there was the CD in the book release but now I see a 43 minute video that was professionally produced. Was this a TV broadcast or a DVD release I missed somehow?

Yes, the video doing the rounds is the Opus film.

I'd love to watch the opus in better quality - on YT its a bit poor. But great memories flood back none the less

That was the Musicology lineup of the band, wasn't it? For my money, the best Prince band ever.

It exists on an offcial pressed DVD, which was released in a VERY limited number which a guy from who had everyone of the pressings (had something to do with being left over from the planned OPUS project) sold em all on EBAY for a fixed price 30 pounds each IIRC, one sold on an ebay bid for 200 pounds a month or so later so god knows how much it is going for now!!!

Many O2 shows had a bootleg audience video recording. Some shows or at least part of shows have been released as pro shots. I may have some of them somewhere. Still have to go trhough a lot of old DVD-Rs I made before huge storage external harddiscs were affordable. But I already noticed some of them are unreadable or corrupted, damned cheap spindles 😉

Don't blame the spindles, a bunch that I burned 15 years ago stored in standard DVD cases won't rip to back them up. Most will play but I guess when even that won't work I'll be SOL.
