Listen in as WVOF's "Upper Room with Joe Kelley and Gi Dussault" radio show celebrates the music and life of PRINCE. Besides featuring the amazing catalog of Prince music, Joe Kelley will interview several Prince friends, band mates and fans.

Monday's May 2nd show will include interviews with : Jacqui Thompson (former Prince manager & NPG Records President), St. Paul Peterson (The Time and The Family), Tamar Davis (vocalist with Prince and The Voice), Elisa Fiorillo (singer with Prince and the NPG), and Estaire Godinez (percussionist/vocalist Prince & the NPG).

The Monday April 25th show included live interviews with Dr. Matt Fink (keyboardist Prince & The Revolution), John Blackwell (drummer Prince & the NPG), Taja Sevelle (singer produced by Prince/Urban Farming founder), Tommy Barbarella (keyboardist with Prince & the NPG), Brooke Calder (Minneapolis singer/author/dancer with Prince & the NPG video) and Laurent Calhoun (Paris TV Host and Prince historian).

Prince had a long history with the "Upper Room with Joe Kelley and Gi Dussault". In March 2004, Prince featured the radio show on his official web site the NPGMusicClub, the first radio show to receive that honor.

A lot of musicians want to come on the shows but right now are too emotionally numb (including ourselves). And we are thankful for the great guest that are going to appear. We also made this a two week celebration to allow for more time and additional guests. Matt Fink: Discussed Revolution reunion and also how he influenced the iconic whoo-whoo vocals at the end of Purple Rain. Prince vibed off his keyboards

John Blackwell: Mentioned seeing a tiny piece of the Vault. Funny story.

Taja Sevelle: Debunked rumors of Prince's drug problems. Also, told how Prince was such a giving person and supportive of her Urban Farming.

Tommy Barbarella: When they were composing Diamonds and Pearls, he thought it was for a Christmas song.

Brooke Calder: Such heartfelt memories from what is happening in MPLS and at Paisley Park.

Laurent Calhoun: Showed how much Prince was loved worldwide . Very emotional.

Such an emotional night. I even drop a handful of CDs onto the turntable while a record was playing. I think Prince knocked them out of my hands as a joke

I'm sure it's a cool show and I'll get around to listening to it. I just wanna say how awesome it is that I can remember The Upper Room from way back on A.M.P. and it's still kicking around. Feels kind of poignant to see The Upper Room doing a tribute to our fallen dude.
