Prince's name

Not that it makes much of a difference, I was just curious as to how the pronounce the prince

I know from the song Now and from some articles that it's really long. It it in the new biography just released? I am reading it but I hate to look ahead, I'm only on page 55 or so.

it has no pronunciation. but if u ask me, if prince had a sound it'd be the sound of a toilet flushing.

The only thing that might come close is the sound sample on
"2 Whomever it May concern" when he says

"The funky new album entitled ssshhhkkkhummm".

Although the previously suggested royal flush seems like
a good one too. Here's my career...ssshhhkkkhummm..

Have a wetwhipe.

I think the idea was that it was unpronouncable, till someone coined the phrase 'Artist Formally Known As Prince' later shortened to 'the artist'.

The similar shaped guitar is called Habbibi

yeah, i understand the idea of not being able to pronounce it. but i thought the reason it was unpronounceable was because it was so long. like in the line from the song Now

"Don't worry about my name it's too long to remember, I could tell you now but we'd be here 'till next september"(eeerrr... something like that).

anyway, thanks for making me laugh!
