soladeo1	Weird thing about Prince live... I have seen him live five times from 1990 through 2004...including one performance in the front row...and have watched countless live performance videos...but I've NEVER seen him hydrate. Never one sip of water. Not once. Ever. Have you???

I would imagine there's always been a time when he left the stage to either do a wardrobe change, another musicians solo, etc... Especially as of late there's been plenty of chances with Shelby singing, Donna soloing or whatever. It may not have been a long absence so it may have been easy to miss but I guarantee he left the stage. However, I've rarely seen him sweat on stage so perhaps he was some kind of ethereal being who had no need for water smile

SPYZFAN1	That might have been the same footage I saw. Q-Tip freestyled (or tried to) and was leaving the stage and P quickly grabbed some sips of bottled water. He then said he was trying to Q-Tip to stop cursing onstage.

I made this same comment about SOH show. He never drank but wondered if he did at encore time

Saw him take some water during the Montreux 2009 gig, first show I believe.
