I'm worried about Alfred. If he has been institutionalized for past 40 years, he is extremely vulnerable right now. He has a lawyer, I hope he is a good person, and won't take advantage of him. | |

Alfred was in the military and i salute him for his service.I'm feeling this cat. He doesn't seem to take any crap.Alfred is the one that got prince started.He said man did he love james brown.He also said he seen the vault over the years and he said he wants it open and he wants the fans to hear the music.Alfred and tyka and prince have the same mother.He has his own attorney and he said quote 'why wasn't i invited to the funeral' Then he got to tour pp. | |

My heart bleeds for Alfred. You can tell he loved Prince and was proud of him. I hope he and Tyka get what they deserve. I feel they will do the right thing. Neither of them has ever (that I know of) sold a story about P or trashed him in any way and they've both had a hard time of it. I hope things work out for them both. | |

Let's hope that court meeting ends peacefully. Seems like Tyka and Alfred needs to find a way to hash out their disagreements. I think more than the money, it will be his vault music, instruments, properties, branding of his name, etc., which is what more of the disagreements may beabout. They will have to be careful that outsiders will not try to play on their vulnerabilities and try to exploit any of them for Princes music, no matter how it all turns out. That's why they need to find some common ground, and band together as siblings, to protect his legacy and music.
Alfred said in an interview that he hadn't spoke to Prince in 15 years, but Tyka seemed to have been the one Orince kept in touch with I do hope they can work it out among themselves. I read a news article that there were many people calling and claiming they were children of Prince, so begins the craziness after a famous celebrity/artist passes. [Edited 5/2/16 7:51am] | |

I posted a link with alfred speaking out on one of my other post.I think alfred was upset because he said he was watching tv and heard about his brothers death.I can imagine alfred saying 'you want to take over prince's estate you weren't even reliable enough to contact me /family about his death | |

He seems like the older brother type that if he were left in charge while the parents went away and you cut up he would get you straightened out in a hurry.I see prince in him i really do.And today tyka looked like prince going into court.Prayers to them...they will need them. | |

This is what I meant about people taking advantage of his family's vulnerability at this time of their grief.
