I think we have cracked the 100 mark or will shortly, outstanding.

I am going to go off the deep end here and offer a 3rd free prize, and this one the best of all. In fact, this will be the 1st place prize, the other wood one 2nd and the LED 3rd.

First off, let me say that I am not trying to be a butt smooch, sycophant or trying to ingratiate myself with this forum for any ulterior motives. I will never be purple, anyone can look at my 1st post here the other day and see that, while I have a new found respect for the man and his music, I am not even a fan and never will be [though I am going to dig a bit deeper into his music].

I first felt guilty for misjudging the man and his music and I felt compelled to come clean with the people who care about him the most - And thats right here. I thought I'd get flamed and banned and would have perfectly understood, but I had to speak my mind and everyone was very understanding of my position which lifted a little weight off my shoulders.

I haven't posted much as an outsider I feel awkward, but I have browsed dozens of threads with interest and I have seen such an outpouring of love, respect and support that I am touched, and feel a little lifted myself from it - This is the exact way people have to handle grief, you can't run from it you have to confront it, and having like minded people by your side, even though they may be 1,000 miles apart, makes all the difference in the world.

Being a member of a MC, I know a thing or 2 about camaraderie, and you Purple People have showed it in fine form and I dare say, Prince would have been proud of you all, of that I have no doubt.

So on to the 3rd prize - This is a real nice piece of work if I do say so myself, a bit larger than the other wood one and best of all, it is made out of purpleheart. Thats right, it is an actual exotic wood species with a very natural purple hue, perfect for The Man [obviously]. Features the symbol and RIP in Prince font with a rippled textured background, this is truly 1 of a kind and not something you could get from ebay, amazon of walmarts - I know that because I made it myself, literally the only one like it in the world.

Was going to offer it up for sale on the marketplace [and I still might make another and do just that when and if it reopens], but for now, I'd be glad to see it go to one of you. Don't get me wrong, not going to lie and say I don't want to turn a $$, I do like the next guy. But a time like this, $$ is not a large concern for me or anyone here. [Small caveat here - Because of its size and weight, shipping international may be dicey. I ship alot around the world and have a pretty good grasp on pricing, it would be at least $30 to ship outside USA .. So I'd spring for half and, if someone outside the USA ends up winning it, would ask you paypal the other half if able. If not I'd pick an alternate winner].

And yes, I do see the irony here but with kids to feed and all, have to set some limits.

Ok the winnners are in, this is how I did it.

A few days ago I wnt look for some method of picking numners, I was thinking of one of those ping pong ball rolling cages, but I went into sticker shock with the prices of those [$40+].

So I wnt to a dollar store and went looking for something with a bunch of small parts/pieces, was about to give up when I walked by the toy section and saw the puzzles.

That'll do, so I got a 200 piece puzzle and numbered 105 pieces, I put them in a bag, blindfolded my girl [mom forbid me to post pics of the girls, had to honor that] ... Anyhow she picked 3rd place first, second and first.
