Find Strength In What Remains...

For everyone that can't get a handle on grief, whether it is Prince's passing as well as dear family and friends; this is for ya'll:

.

“Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be...”
William Wordsworth

"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

As in my sig file, that I recently edited, I found a quote from Dr. Seuss helpful, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Yes I saw someone say that on TV in Australia too when speaking of Prince - it made me think happy for just a moment until I cried again, but I need to keep telling myself this - thank you for reminding me. xxx

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

About a month ago I was watching clips of the film splendour in the grass on Youtube. I love the line that natalie wood quotes at the end of the film because she's come to terms with her lost love and knows it's gone forever. Never thought that poem would be posted here for Prince. It's fitting though ..thanks for posting it.
Baby, you're a star.

Meet me in another world, space and joy
