----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sharon is currently battling recurrent bile duct cancer. I saw her with the Dap-Kings in December and she was clearly down physically. Sad to see such a high energy performer affected like that. But she's seems a lot better now as you can see in this month's video. "When I Come Home" is a trip of a song!

I was about to say that Sharon had been fighting cancer; when I saw her on New Year's Eve of 2015 she stated that she had just finished her last chemo treatment. I couldn't believe the positivity and energy of the woman as she was touring while battling cancer. Simply amazing. I'm glad to see her still hanging in there and taking the time to give a moving tribute to Prince.
