So over the past 3 years lifetime tv has been doing a few africam american bio's. whitney,toni b, tlc, and there are a few that are in the works to be greenlighted.As sure as im sitting here i bet lifetime is planning one for our prince.Now keep in mind lifetime doesn't see shades of color.Meaning the cd would cast prince from mariah careys color to choc brown.So who do you guys think should play prince?

I seriously think they should just leave it alone. Them and VH1 (Viacom) do a horrible job at capturing the life of artists.... exhibit A: The Michael Jackson Movie (while he was still alive)

Prince did his own movie, please no more.

I do not trust anyone to not put forth a bunch of garbage and rhetoric.

Now if they want to do a documentary on him and interview everyone, that I can get behind.

I think a movie that was more of a documentary that had close associate's stories strung together with actual footage of Prince would be awesome, and really the only film that could be done for someone as unique as Prince. I can't really see anyone playing Prince.

If a prince movie ever happens, VH1 should do it. VH1 is not really known for their biopics but they did a TLC movie which was really good. Not oscar worthy good but good by most folks standards. However with the TLC biopic, T-boz and chili were heavily involved with the script and they made sure the movie was told right. How many people in Prince's life would be down for a movie much less making sure his life story is portrayed properly on film? You got plenty of folks who dont want their business out in the street. Tyka might be up for getting a movie greenlit but only after the grief begins to subside a bit and she can find the right person to make a film that honors her brother's legacy. Honestly, I am surprised that Prince did not have a fred astaire type clause in his will. Fred Astaire had it put in his will that nobody can ever make a biopic about his life.

Now...why would you go and remind me of that horror? My stomach literally dropped seeing that picture. It literally looks they just shook out a bottle of baby powder over him, rubbed it in a little bit, and thought everything was good. This movie is good for a laugh though, but so cringey. I think a Prince movie is inevitable. I hope it's a "Ray" type movie though, not some thrown together Lifetime movie. He deserves a good feature film and/or a documentary.

Well,they better get input from his true down to earth fans.Because im beginning to see that near the end it seems like he was just one with his fans.We should write it.At least we knew the basics and much more about him then most.
