I decided to go through my Prince collection I'll arrange and correct names, folders, tags and put the whole house in order. I feel guilty for not doing this earlier. It will take time and effort but it's worth it. There won't be a second Prince and his work has become even more precious. "Cuz I've seen the top and it's just a dream"

I started doing this a couple of years ago - and I'm still doing it! . However this did include ripping CDs and vinyl (and associated artists)! . It's incredible the odd differences between some tracks when ripping and comparing CDs. Also it's odd how some CDs are track-marked really badly. . Organising the digital releases has thrown up some tracks I never knew I had. Even today I dicovered Miss You. I've never heard that before - it's so beautiful from 1978. Also I discovered the NPGMC version of Guitar is totally different and has some really lovely extra sounds in it. Also, I didn't realise some versions on Chocolate Invasion / Slaughterhouse are different to the NPGMC versions. . Rediscovering some old gems makes me realise the amazing legacy he has left behind and that I'm going to miss him so very much. .

Yes same here...my stuff was fairly organized before, but I had fallen behind with it, so going to try to slowly organize it all even better. There are multiple versions of some outtakes so I need to determine which is the best sounding one and also get my rehearsals in order. . I was about to say that we won't be getting much to add to our collection now, but I hope that is not true with many more "leaks" and posthumous releases in the future.
