Show of hands

Once the final report comes out about prince's death no matter what the cause is will you still be a true loving fan? My hand is raised proudly and i say YES. I know they have sticky post on here but,do they have a poll setup here it may be better that way for this if anyone wants to answer.

Why would any of our feelings change? We love the man, he loved us, he gave his best to us all, to people in need, and to his faith. Nothing that comes out could ever change that.

Well, of ocurse I don't. Whatever the results of the autopsy, the man was a phenonemal talent and made amazing music. Nothing will change that.

of course! I will always love Prince and his music.. Hypothetically if it turns out that he was the biggest drug addict in music. that still doesnt take away from how brilliant and how entertaining he was for his fans.. Prince along with the rest of us aren't perfect and we all have our demons and bad habits.. It doesn't make us bad people it just simply makes us human.

I of course love him and his music. I am really hoping its not a drug overdose by an active addict. I hope if there was a drug problem, that it was due to the pain he was experiencing and that he was trying to get off them. ( I place a lot of blame on the medical community and their prescribing habits.) Have read stories to that effect....things do add up a little, the flu like symptoms could have been withdrawl symptoms, and the accidental OD days before is plausible as people trying to get off drugs often OD by accident when they use again(I know its all speculation and rumor etc...)

I will say I have looked up to his ideals and him because of it, and I highly doubt my opinion will be shattered but there is a chance....and still really dont know until it happens how I will feel.

What could an autopsy report possibly reveal that would make someone question his admiration for Prince?

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I don't get why anyone would think less of him for being on perscription drugs. If he was in pain, he was in pain. So it's only natural that he would want to be rid of it.

I can take a guess that most people here have been perscribed drugs in their lifetime too. I've been on perscription medication for periods at a time.

He was still very anti-drugs in his music anyway so that still stands.

Prince Rogers Nelson was not perfect. He had flaws because he was human. He bled, he hurt just like all of us. But when he went on stage, he gave us everything, maybe to his own detriment. He spent his whole life creating and he shared a lot of these creations with us which made us feel happy, reflective, inspired. There is no autopsy report that can take away how Adore made me feel in 1987. There is nothing that will take away the fact the Kiss is the textbook definition of a perfect pop song. There is nothing that will take the memories of the first time I heard this song or that song. If there is anything that does bother me it is judgement from those outside our circle but to hell with them. If they are without flaws or sin, let them throw the first stone. Otherwise, shut up already, damn!

All good things they say never last...

Does not matter to me now. There will still be a void. None of us are perfect and have our own issues.

It changes nothing. I respect him more now because of the way he died. He made the choice not to let himself wither away in a hospital bed. He made a point to live his life in his last days to the max by performing, recording, spending time with fans and friends, etc. He was suffering and there was an underlying problem and I'm not talking about his hip or the drugs. He was in total control until the last day. I hope that I have that much courage when I am faced with my last days.

We all have our flaws, and have done things in our past that we regret. When I was younger I did many crazy things. I will always love PRINCE no matter what the outcome. No one asks to become an addict (actually let me rephrase if he was because I DONT BELIEVE SPECULATION. I will wait for the toxicology reports. We don't know what he was going through and feeling throughout his whole life he was a private person. Everybody handles things differently. He changed we saw that he was a new very different PRINCE in the end and I have so much respect for him.
