I have a 5 day old account, just started commenting today. Just thought I'd make a brief introduction so as not to be confused with recent troublemakers.

I've been a Prince fan since 1984. Saw Purple Rain at the cinema twice in a row, that's how mindblowing the experience was for me first time round.
Have a good collection of Prince related material: vinyls, CDs, VHS, booklets, concert ticket stubs, an old scrap book dedicated to him (with some great old pics!), a newspaper article collection and an edition of that comic book someone mentioned on some other thread.

I went to the opening of the Camden Town shop.

I have seen him live many times, in Portugal, London and New York City.

Decided to join here now, but have been an occasional lurker, on this forum and also on his official site, when it was up some years ago.

So... just to let everyone know I'm very much a big Prince fan who felt the need to reach out and just interact with other people who understand how this tragic loss has affected me.

I am also new here but have been a fan since Little Red Corvette. That song changed my life forever and led to me seeing Prince 3 times (oh how I wish it could have been more). I came here because I needed to be among people who shared my grief, other people in my life just don't understand. I've found a lot of comfort here this last week. I can't put into words how heartbroken I feel, the tears have been a constant since that day.

Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and thanks for having me.
