1. Listening to Anna Stesia I only JUST realised this in the lyrics:

"Gregory looks just like a ghost"

Prince and Mayte's son was called Boy Gregory!

2. In the UK over the last few days it has been snowing! In April! Very unusual.

3. This one is definitely covered elsewhere but it is so weird gotta repeat it:

Sometimes It Snows In April was recorded on 21st April 1985 - 31 years to the day he died!

Anybody got any other strange coincidence and connections?

The Gregory mentioned in that line refers to Greg(ory) Brooks. Remember Greg Brooks and Wallace "Wallly" Safford, the two security-turned-dancer dudes who were part of his entourage from 1984-1988 ?

It´s about that night when he took ecstasy and had a bad trip, which probably started at the club and Greg looked like a ghost to him. Nothing weird or strange about that line.

What I do find weird is that April 21 date. Sometimes It Snows In April was recorded on April 21, like you mentioned, and he was hospitalized and almost died on April 21 in 1996, and of course the day he died was also April 21.

Kudos - yes I forgot about Greg Brooks being around during the time Prince would have been writing the Black Album tracks.

He clearly liked the name Gregory!

However, the coincidence remains (was not suggesting Prince could time travel and predict his own son passing away )

There´s a thread about it, and it was mentioned in Hahn´s biography "Possessed-The Rise and Fall of Prince".

Snow in April really isn't that unusual un the UK, I remember many times having snow in April. I remember some snowy easters for sure.

Prince may have died the night of the 20th, but was officially pronounced dead on the 21st after being discovered. I am sure the autopsy results will give more details when officially released.
