I loved that article. An insight we normally would never have got into the human being that was Prince.

'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

True.

Yes...and interesting that they were invited to the private memorial.

I remember seeing bags from their restaurant "People's Organic" being brought into Paisley Park for their gathering after the memorial when they showed footage on the news

What stood out to me is the fact that he did not eat the final meal that they prepared for him. That might suggest that he died Wednesday, 4/20/16, after he was dropped off after hanging out with Kirk, Josh, Hannah and his assistant. The thought that he may have been dying alone for up to 12 hours makes me so sad.

Could not be....According to the 911 calls they tried for about 20 miniutes. They would have known he was deceased for while before or they would say dead on arrival.

There is a report that rigor mortis had already set in by the time the staff found him after he had missed a medical appointment. I think he was dead when he was found and people were just hoping for the best. Sad.

It is definitely sad to think about it (if what you posted is true). The fact that we are bantering about this is crazy....that we thought it to this detail...

I think we are all so sort of obessed with it all and wondering these things because we are all in such shock and so down about the whole thing. I almost wish he died in his sleep...maybe we would just assume a peaceful departure.

Eileen

Per the 911 call, even the people who found him knew he was dead already:

D: OK, your cellphone's not going to tell me where you're at, so I need you to find me an address.

UM: Yea, we have um, yea, we have um, so, yea, um, the person is dead here.

D: OK, get me the address please.

THIS! This is why Prince stayed in Minnesota. Honest, hardworking people like this.

I'll have to take back what I said about Ms. Gutierrez, who is claiming to be Prince's GF at the time of his death. She claimed he took her to Dairy Queen, and I cried fowl as it's not a vegan place. But Prince was no vegan!

Now I believe her. A lunatic fan would have "known" he was a vegan as that was was reported on forever.

Wow that's what you got out of the article lol. So now it's all true then. Nevermind claims of celibacy or lack of any proof at all. Comparing the loss th losing Mj, or saying she has no favorite song of P because she's not that familiar with his work, but then on askfm 3 years ago she said she was a big Mj and prince fan. So she'd have some favorites and be familiar.
Literally anything could be proof, a note, or gift. Anything.

Your saying that since he ate dairy this must be proof. Well that ignores everything else. The fact of the matter is when you lose your boyfriend, that's a way bigger pain than just being a big fan. She is making her grief bigger with no proof. When I lost my husband I had all kinds of proof. Ring, kids, gifts, letters, pics. She ain't got crap and I'm not even seeing anything resembling the 5 stages of grief in her tweets. Just skipped on over to acceptance.

Until she has proof she isn't up there with Mayte in level of upsetedness.
No matter the ©️, Paisley Park "official can never ™️ prince. He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996. You can't take prince away from us, corporate. I mean O ( + >

I enjoyed reading this, thankyou for posting it. It's interesting to learn what he liked to eat and so on. It makes me sad that he was feeling ill for some time before he died, he truly was driven, it's amazing how he was working so hard to perfect all the songs etc.

Being that he was a terribly selfish person I'm not surprised he compromised his veganism to just go vegetarian. It takes real comittment to love animals. The dairy industry is probably the worst of all so I find it disappointing Prince supported it. Don't get me wrong. I do give vegetarians credit. It's better than eating meat but it's still a far far away from truly loving animals but making decisions that do not harm them in any way. Dairy industry is wicked and cruel just like egg and flesh industries. So if anyone out there REALLY loves animals consider going Vegan. Best decision I've ever made. Oh and by the way if you are one of those "don't preach to me" types...FU in advance wink

Prince already stated that he wasn't vegan. He said he was vegetarian on the George Lopez show in 2011 and he has talked about it since. This is not news. The media gets a lot wrong. That's why it's best to not listen to most of it. They state what they say as if it is a fact and I'm sure sometimes they even believe it's true. They have gotten so much wrong, even the smallest things. So be careful who says they know this or that. Even if they do have the facts, they are often twisted. Sad but true.

What a lovely piece. So Prince liked sweet and spicy. Somehow also annoying to hear how he communicated and his perfectionist ways. Has a lot to do with now.

Who is anyone to judge Prince's choice to be vegetarian rather than vegan? I can't stand the self-righteous tone of some of these posts. The fact that was committed to abstaining from foods dervied from animals period showed discipline and strength. Being vegan isn't easy and to do it for years is an accomplishment in and itself. It's possible that doctors told Prince to use a vegetarian diet due to his health.
