The Second Coming I've heard the song 'The Second Coming' from around the Controversy tour, but not after. Is it on any boots?
Apparently there was supposed to be a movie of the same name. Footage of the stage show is in high quality and in the vault. There was also a bit shot at the Purple House.
I sure hope the family will open the vault. Put the money to charity and his legacy lives for not just the music, but for the giving man he was.

The song's studio cut without crowd noise isn't available but the live version is a tape and on many soundboard bootlegs. It was also made officially available for stream by the site Wolfgangsvault and is on their YT channel. For me, this film project is the holy grail of his vault stuff because this is my favorite era and the era when he became a big part of my life. I read that the man who was holding the film sold it back to him a year or two ago. I hope that a copy exists of it and it sees the light of day. I don't think that I am understating things when I say that everything he had done is not only a part of American history, but it is world history. I am so lucky to have been on this earth at the same time he was here. | |

Hopefully when one day when the film is released, I hope they also add The Time and Zapp with Roger Troutman,who toured with Prince on the Controversy Tour. | |

say whatluvsexy4all said: a bad copy of this film is within some collectors Good to know (the quality of those photos makes it seem as if there is a decent copy.) Pretty sure I have all the known concerts from that time period which are circulating, but sadly not that. 
It would be cool if they are all released from the vault & compiled chronologically. Or in a box set. There is no question that unreleased songs are many, but I hope the same attention is put on unreleased footage. [Edited 5/5/16 18:36pm] "All the world is faith, trust and pixie dust...''
